A social entrepreneur, philanthropist, leader, experimentalist, and learner – Shirin is a blend of all. A woman of high integrity, she balances humility and confidence with perfection. It allows her to easily get into the thick of any matter – from leading a legacy brand of Real Estate with her husband with a new outlook to working towards changing the lives of the underprivileged for the better with her NGO and a member on board a renowned soccer school to train young sports talent. Shirin is a mother of two beautiful children and wife of Manav Aggarwal, The Director of AFEI, into all verticals of real estate.
A self-driven individual since her formative years, Shirin picked up assignments that helped her in self-development – be it in the USA or UAE. She trained in the hospitality industry, counselled for a business college, designed magazines, and conceptualised events. In parallel to her community-centric activities for her NGO Wey foundation.
Shirin formalized her journey of the Ngo after working diligently in the Covid lockdown beginning of the March 22nd lockdown from ration to over 6000 families to medical needs of thousands, and has been instrumental in setting up 3 free Covid hospitals Ratnagiri, Maharashtra with support of MLA & Doc appointed as Covid Chief from the Army in Maharashtra. During the Covid lockdown she Worked under ex- DGP Shri Sanjay Pandey for the shelter home in Versova, with NCW (National commission for women) Delhi, Chairperson Mrs. Rekha Sharma for 7 day medical camp in karjat with the support of the KMC and Mayor Mrs. Suvarna Joshi, she personally attended to over 40K people in 7 days. She is an active member of LTG group where no of medical n all needs are taken care.She has covered several police station for motivational speeches and medical supplies in Navi Mumbai under DCP Shri Shivraj Patil.
She in a short span of time as reached out to many Adivasi villages in Maharashtra and Gujarat for Nomadic tribes. Now she has signed up n planning stage of building 307 homes for the nomadic tribes in Gujarat with the support of local authorities. This her new “SMART VILLAGE PROJECT” with sustainable living for these tribes who haven’t had homes for generations, and now they not only will have homes but a means of livelihood and kids will be going to school so the community on the whole will be uplifted. She plans to model this as an example to many other cities n states.
WEY – An acronym for We Empower You, intends to build a system where one individual empowers another to grow together. Even though we are the new kid in the block, we sensed that there is a lot to be done, hence we thought of starting structured, planned, and in baby steps.
